Title: Hi, my name is tweeva and I salute you all.
Post by: tweeva on Mar 20, 2009, 03:25:57 AM
Well actually "tweeva" is a nickname I invented that has stuck to me since my teens. There's a story behind that, but I won't bother you all with the details. Yet  ;D.
I have been posting a little bit on the kundalini gateway mailing list under the pseudonym "Thoth the Atlantean". My Second Life avatar is called "Thoth Exelbirth". I mean nothing in particular by choosing those pseudonyms. I just find "Thoth" a very cool and interesting character, so perhaps I'm a bit of a fan.
I finally decided to take the FST course after thinking it over and chatting with Mystress (you still owe me a ride on your elephant!) for quite some time. My main motivation for doing this, is to get (re)acquainted to the vocabulary, and thus achieve a common ground over here to talk a bit about that which is indescribable.
That's the official version as dictated by reason.
Oh well, it probably is time for me to find some company on the path towards the source. This seems like a cool tribe for me. And I'm sure that I can learn a thing or two from someone who soars to the heavens, yet works very hard to keep her feet firmly rooted in the ground. You know, our beloved anti-guru. ;).

One of my hobbies is playing music, so music is the language i speak best. Once in a while I write a poem. It is a form of release. The following one I posted previously on the mailing list and I would like to share it over here as well. It was originally written in my mother's tongue (dutch) and poetry does not translate very well. However, I got feedback that the translation is pretty decent, so I guess it does succeed in bringing some of the message across.

She is forgiveness and revenge, simultaneously
and eternity.
beautiful and frightful,
and blissful.
She scorches, but also loves,
her human child.
Creates and destroys mercyless,
who cannot look straight into her eyes.
She is indescribable, yet always there,
but many have forgotten where.

Greetings,
Tw

Hey, tweeva.  Glad you reached out and welcome aboard.   Yes, FST is great stuff, a really fine course in what may miraculously fill in the holes and recalibrate you in addition to adding to your understanding of what's important and how things work.   Plus, there's good people in the group, as well.

... sharing one thing that's most important, that would be taking time with the lessons, making sure you have a real understanding of each one before you move on.  And, reviewing them.  That way, you won't be sowing the seeds of impatience and you'll get a real pay off at the end.

I look forward to seeing you around here and in sl.
