Title: Low heartbeat
Post by: Mari on Mar 08, 2009, 12:15:11 AM
Hi!
I would like to ask something. I've been fine, maybe a bit ungrounded lately. No more than usual dizzines because my blood pressure is naturally low. But my mother has machine for measuring blood pressure and heartbeat. I have measured myself few times now, and I'm getting worried. My blood pressure is really low, and last time my heartbeat was 44 bpm first time I measured. When I focused on my heartbeat and breathed deeply it raised to 54 bpm. It's funny because I "accidently" said to Mystress in SL a while ago that my heartbeat has been lately under 50 bpm when I meant around 60 bpm. I remember that years ago it's been about 68 bpm or something. I've tried to search from the net could this be K related, but I find only information about total loss of heartbeat during meditation. Medical net sites say that under 50 bpm is not good. My grandmother had low heartbeat, but I didn't have this before. I'm not exercising much, so that's not the reason. I feel fine, but when I start to think about this I feel faint and dizzy. Could my candida diet cause this? I'm considering going to doctor, and definitely I have to eat more salt. Exercising more could also make my heart stronger... I danced and sweated this week and actually I could do it easier than before. I'm puzzled.
I appreciate your help!
Mari

  Hi Mari:

I don't know what to tell you except a visit to a MD would be a good idea.  I find it interesting that you feel worse if you think about it... while it could be a result of worry- I think it more likely your DB validating that it needs to be checked out.

If I come up with anymore insights I'll pass them on but I am not an MD.

My own pulse is steady around 80 BPM since I attained the grail in 1997... one of the signs of attainment.  Doesnt matter if I am asleep or running up a hill.

   Blessings!

I get dizzy always when I think about blood and all bodily functions. I've fainted big time, fell into floor totally unconscious, when I was kid and we had human biology class going on  ;D
But I'll go to doctor. There's been heart attacks in my family.
