Title: Happy Yule!
Post by: Mari on Dec 21, 2008, 12:49:41 AM
Magical, Peaceful and Happy Winter Solstice to You!

This time of the year is so magical  :) We live here in the darkness, literally, and it's beautiful. It's deep dark at 4pm! For the past few years I've studied the Pagan ways and had small gatherings with couple of friends celebrating the Wheel of the Year. We don't know much about the customs, we have couple of books and the net, but it feels good to celebrate anyway. It's so small, and christmas is still our main party, because of the kids and relatives. Our Yule = Joulu is quite pagan anyway, so no need to change that so much. Joulupukki aka Yule Goat brings gifts ;D

Goddess took care of my old computer which couldn't support SL by breaking it (twice to make the point go through)... :) Well, with the new one I could pay a visit to SL finally.  Happy new year to everybody!

  Maybe not:
There are other browsers you can use to visit sl, this one uses a lot less computer resources:

http://www.openlifegrid.com/Downloads/ViewerDownloads/tabid/188/Default.aspx (http://www.openlifegrid.com/Downloads/ViewerDownloads/tabid/188/Default.aspx)

Select viewer 1.15, and select "second life" from the grid list when you go to login with it.

   Blessings!

Not working :(
My little brother laughed hard when I tried to convince him to fix my laptop so it could run SL. He is my computer Guru :-*
